about us

Founded in 2006 as the successor to Lëtzebuerger Kultur an Amerika (est. 1989), Roots & Leaves strengthens ties between Luxembourg and the United States by preserving shared heritage and promoting collaboration in culture, education, and research. We honor the legacy of 19th-century emigrants and connect today’s communities through student exchanges, academic partnerships, and heritage projects thus keeping the Luxembourg–American story relevant, while encouraging dialogue, mutual understanding, and creating new friendships.
